How often can you do HIIT?

I started the 30 Days of HIIT on the first, so, as of today, I have 2 consecutive days. Reread the article HIIT Benefits today, which lead to my question.

According to the article, three to four times a week is the maximum beneficial number of times HIIT should be engaged in for maximal results. Yet, the 30 Days program appears to be geared toward 30 consecutive days, which is contra to the research cited in the article.

I know that you can exercise every day when you stress a different major muscle group each day, so that the stressed muscles are given a minimum of 1 day rest to recover, e.g. Work upper body Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the work lower body on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. At least that is what I have been told and my research confirms.

So, my question is; is the 30 Days of HIIT program designed to allow the major muscle groups to rest between workouts or should I plan to workout every other day?

All Programms at darbee are designed to do them without full rest days. You can do 30 days of HIIT every day, without any problems. Stick to your personal level and listen to your body. If you have any problems, make a full rest day but it is not necessary.

All the Darebee workouts have an active rest day through each workout program they have.

keep up with the workout but if you find you need an extra day off by all means rest but don't make it a habit as this will stop giving you the results you were hoping to have.
