    Suitable for kids

    Good day every one,

My brother (10 years old) wants to train with me, and I wanted to know if it was a good idea? He likes the hero journey (obviously because of the name). I would lower the number of reps to what he can do. What would you recommend?

    Thanks for the support!

***extra info: He plays hockey 3 times a week all year long, +soccer, swimming during summer.

Let him have at it. It will be good for his body awareness and help keep him active. Just keep an eyeball on form every now and again and he should be fine. It is really hard to hurt yourself while doing bodyweight exercises. Just make sure he keeps that mind set that it is for fun (and that he has fun doing it) so that he doesn't overload himself with the this on top of other activities.

Great thanks! Yes I'll be doing it with him, and help correct his form. My goal is to make exercising fun so he takes pleasure in it!

my daughter turns 10 in Nov and has already said she wants to grow up to be a American Ninja Warrior has been saying that since she was 8 and first saw the American Ninja Warrior Tv Show. The issue I have is we also have a 2 year old son who likes to be in the middle of things.

If the kid is above 7, then it's okay. Let him do whatever he wants. Just check on his overall state. Mine is 11 now, and he trains with me. I guess it's even better since I know his limits, and I feel when he becomes way too tired. I suppose the same thing is going to work with you. When he was younger, he used to see me training and all the time desired to join. My parents were a bit worried about that since he was too small. He used to go to the prep school that was including lots of activities in their schedule, which I was happy about. In case you need anything of this kind, just click here to learn more about them. Since he's older now, my parents delegated the responsibility to me. Just happy that he's enjoying the time spent with my training.

My ten year old works out with me once or twice a week. No issues yet.
