    Cardio high burn or HIIT workout for burning fat?

    I'm doing running as well as strength training and getting good results. Although I am continuously doing workout from last seven months and got the result.
    but now I want to shredd that left over fat at back and sides of abdominal.
    so I want to incorporate some workout that will help me burn these fat reserves.
    if anyone have a genuine advice please tell me I am waiting for advice.

    Here it is (sorry in advance, for how long this post is)... Steady-state cardio workouts are as simple as they come. Perform your activity at a steady, challenging-but-manageable pace (60 to 70 percent of maximal capacity) for 20 minutes or more, aiming for a heart rate of 120 to 150 beats per minute.HIIT workouts are slightly more complex. Perform your activity as hard as you can (90 to 100 percent of maximal capacity) for a brief, set time period (usually two minutes or less), then back off for a predetermined rest interval (usually three minutes or less), and repeat the cycle four times or more. Steady-state cardio is aerobic: It requires oxygen and is fueled mostly by stored fat. HIIT, by contrast, is anaerobic: Intervals don’t rely exclusively on oxygen, and are fueled mostly by stored carbohydrates. Although, HIIT providew the after burn effect, which relies on stored fat... If my opinion counts, I like to incorporate HIIT, but because you really have to give it all you've got (in most cases this never happens...) it never provides all the effects you want it to... So I would suggest cardio (especially for fat loss...). Again, I am no expert, but I like to read and learn about physiology, as I am a hobby long-distance runner. Hope it helps, but I too wait for an expert to clarify things...

              That last part of fat is the hardest to get rid off (particularly if you have been losing weight constantly over the year) I don't know what you define as the left overs (depends on your body fat % ) but what has worked for me in the past is a combination of both, and being very conscious that slow and steady is the way to go ( you can lose 1 kg in a week and get it back just as easily if you are low enough on the scale, your body doesn't like shocks like that)

              In the end all you need is to be in a sufficient caloric deficit for long enough for your body to start shedding the fat. The problem is that you want that fat loss to be sustainable. For me, just normal steady cardio was OK but after a while it was just...routine, and I wasn't going to run for longer (no time) or faster (that would have been a different type of training) So I added HIIT in between.

              Bear in mind you might be hitting a plateau (For what you've said, you've been working out constantly for the past 7 months and seeing results...there comes a point where the results just take longer) If that's the case, consider reducing the intensity for a couple of weeks, let your body adapt and then go hard. Or switch to a different style of training (Strength training or maybe some hypertrophy) .

              You can also consider upping a little bit your ingest of calories (100-200), maintaining the same volume and intensity of your workouts, let your body get used to that for a couple of weeks, and then reduce the calories again.

              It's really hard tot ell you which one is better because...they both work It's just a matter of preference (granted you push yourself enough)
