Fly steps may look easy but they are a deceptively difficult exercise when it comes to performing it correctly. It helps with balance, posture and the flexibility of the spine. It is useful both as a warm-up and a workout in itself.

What's involved: Glutes, lower back, core, arms, shoulders, calves, hamstrings.

Powered by: Glutes and lower back muscles. .

Tip: Notice how by arching your back you help the spine stretch and begin to get the lower back muscles into play. Form is everything in this exercise. .
