  • Rings-based workout

I just installed the rings at my house (spending €20 for rings and €15 for hooks) and was looking at some workouts using the rings. The possibilities are endless. I'm totally amazed by what you can accomplish using this simple tool. The cool thing is that you can also take it with you and practice almost everywhere.
Is there a darebee workout for beginners similar to the 30 days of gravity that focus on exercises using only rings?
If not will it be possible to have one in the future?
The difficulty in this case is doing the exercise with the proper position and I think that the way that you guys explain every exercise it would be perfect for a beginner.

I'm glad you brought up this idea. I had been thinking about suggesting something similar. I have a suspension training system hanging in my basement. It's basically a pair of load straps with handles. There's an American company that markets a product called TRX, and they charge a pretty penny, but there are other, less expensive products (mine cost less than $30) and plenty of DIY options.
Google "suspension training" and you'll find lots of information. You can use this kind of set-up to work almost every muscle except your tongue.
I have my own routines, but I'd love to see what the Darebee community will come up with.

yeah, I've done TRX in the gym a coupe of times, quite good. But the rings... I think was the best $19 investment!
I'm refining my routine, I'll post it up when I have time and I'm sure about what to do... next week I guess...
I don't know why it tooks me so long to discover this kind of training!

Playing on rings is such fun.
If anyone is needing inspiration on what to do, check out the gymnastics wod movements, and also the wods (some skill based, strength, flexibility, etc) like this one (it's fun, trust me ).

Would be interested to see Darebee putting up some workouts incorporating rings, or even solely rings.
