Our attitude determines our perception and our perception guides our reality. By being more positive we reduce stress levels which means our mental and physical health improves. At the same time mental resources that would be unavailable to us when we are stressed become available to us and we can think better. We tend to focus on the negative things that happen to us throughout the day more since we feel them more acutely so it's important to develop a habit of actively looking for wins instead. This approach helps us become mentally more resilient which means we also become physically more robust.
Instructions: Acknowledge a victory, however small, at the end of the day for 30 days in a row. It can be anything from taking that walk you wanted, not giving into a vice or completing a task you kept on putting off.
