DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 4 of 5

Who Approved This? is a cardio and power workout with a title you will quote, out loud, mid-set, to an empty room. Plank jacks, burpees and jump squats - that's the entire committee. Seven exercise blocks, and every single one carries a 3+ rep count, which means the minimum is three and the ceiling is your own questionable judgement. Somebody signed off on this. The paperwork remains missing.

The circuit runs without rest between exercises, and the design is a rotation of explosive movements with nowhere to hide. Burpees run through the middle of the whole set - three separate blocks of them, including the closer - while plank jacks and jump squats alternate around them, trading the load between the plank position and standing power. Nothing here is steady-state: every block demands force production, so the heart rate climbs in stacked spikes rather than a manageable curve. The universal 3+ is the workout's actual signature. Three reps of anything is nothing; the plus is where the auditing happens, because every block quietly invites you to add reps for as long as your form holds - and the burpee blocks make sure you feel the consequences of your own generosity.

On plank jacks, keep hips level as the feet jump wide and back - the plank shouldn't bounce. Make every burpee a complete sequence: chest low in the plank, feet in, full jump with arms overhead. Sink jump squats to parallel and land soft, knees tracking over toes. Whatever number you pick for the plus, pick one you can finish cleanly.

Nobody approved this. You did it anyway, and honestly, that says everything.

Make it Harder: Set your floor at 6+ for every block.

Make it Easier: Hold every block at exactly 3 and step the burpees out and in.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
