DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Reload & Go is a cardio workout built on the sprinter's crouch. Every row begins the same way: a 10-count hold in a low, coiled, fingertips-down ready position - the reload - before releasing into climbers, reverse lunges or high knees and finishing with twenty punches. Three cycles per set of gathering yourself and letting go.

The recurring crouch is far more than a rest stop. Holding a deep, sprinter-style squat for ten counts keeps the quads, glutes and ankles under loaded tension in exactly the position explosive movement launches from - so each "go" phase starts from muscles that are pre-loaded rather than idle. The middle exercises rotate the demand: climbers take the explosion to the floor, reverse lunges convert it into controlled single-leg strength, and high knees turn it into upright speed. Every row then empties into twenty punches, keeping the heart rate up while the legs bank their only recovery of the cycle. Coil, release, strike - three times through, the rhythm of anything that pounces for a living.

Settle into each hold with your weight balanced over the balls of your feet, chest up, one hand grazing the floor - a genuine ready position, not a slump. Explode into the middle exercise the instant the count ends; the transition is the training. Keep the climbers low-hipped, drive up hard from every reverse lunge, and rotate through your torso on all sixty punches.

Ten counts down, then everything at once. Reload, go, repeat - the crouch always knows what comes next.

Make it Harder: Double every hold to a 20-count.

Make it Easier: Raise the crouch to a half squat and march the high knees.

I really like this website. It doesn't make me overthink what to workout. I would just do one or two of these workouts, walk for 45 minutes and stretch. It makes me feel good.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
