Pisces is a yoga flow from the DAREBEE zodiac series, shaped for the sign of the two fish - the dreamer of the zodiac, ruled by water, happiest moving between worlds. Nine poses, each held for 30 seconds, flowing from standing reach through downward dog, plank, lunges and seated folds down to child's pose: a sequence that travels from surface to depth the way its namesake swims. Then, like the two fish bound in opposite directions, the whole sequence repeats on the other side.
This one works differently from the usual DAREBEE circuit: it's a continuous pose flow - 30 seconds per position, moving through all nine, then the full sequence again leading with the other side. The arc is a slow dive. It begins at the surface, standing with arms reaching up, then folds into downward dog and lowers through an elbow plank - the one genuinely strength-flavored station, a long isometric passage between stretches. From there the flow opens the lower body in progressively deeper water: a runner's lunge, a low lunge with the hands dropping to the front foot, a seated side lunge with palms together, a deep squat, a kneeling reach. Child's pose closes the descent - the stillest, deepest point of the swim - before the second lap begins. Thirty seconds is long enough for each position to stop being a shape and start being a place, which is very much a Pisces distinction.
Breathe into every hold rather than bracing through it - water sign rules apply, and nothing here is forced. Press the floor away in downward dog with hips reaching high. Keep the elbow plank one line from head to heels. In the lunges and side lunge, let the hips sink gradually across the 30 seconds instead of demanding depth at once. Settle fully into child's pose, arms long, before surfacing for side two.
The two fish swim in opposite directions and belong to one another anyway. So do your two sides - and both get their lap.
Make it Harder: Extend every hold to 45 seconds.
Make it Easier: Halve each hold to 15 seconds and take the plank from your knees.
