Nobody Asked For This is a plank and burpee workout that answers a question no one raised - three blocks of four jump burpees, wrapped around climbers, push-ups and shoulder taps, delivered with the unsolicited confidence of a group chat message at six in the morning. Nobody asked. It arrived anyway.
The uninvited guest here is the jump burpee, showing up three times: at the start, in the middle and again at the end, four full drops and maximal leaps per visit. Between its appearances, the workout stays on the floor and grinds: climbers drive the heart rate from a plank, push-ups load the chest in two honest blocks of four, and shoulder taps demand a level torso on arms that are starting to draft a complaint. The structure means your body never gets to file the burpees away as finished - they always come back, which is somehow both the joke and the training principle. Repeated explosive efforts on accumulating fatigue build exactly the conditioning nobody asks for and everybody uses.
Give every jump burpee its full sequence - chest to the floor territory, a clean plank, and a genuine jump at the top rather than a hopeful shrug. Keep the climbers low-hipped and quick, the push-ups full-depth, and the shoulder taps steady enough that your hips forget hands are leaving the floor at all.
Twelve jump burpees per set that no one requested. Delivered anyway. You are welcome.
Make it Harder: Turn every burpee block into six.
Make it Easier: Step through the burpees and skip the jump.
