DAREBEE Workout: What it Works

Stage-ready shoulders, rock-solid legs and a core that won’t quit - KPop Idol delivers that blend in a single dumbbell circuit. Time-under-tension combos (holds plus lateral raises, overhead plus straight punches) light up deltoids, traps and postural muscles while teaching you to keep control when fatigue hits. Reverse lunges build clean, camera-friendly lines from hip to ankle, the farmer’s walk reinforces grip and midline stability, and the final thrusts add a pop of full-body power - exactly the kind of stamina you need for one more chorus.

Go light to moderate on the weights so you can keep the shapes crisp and the rhythm steady. Shoulders down, ribs tucked, long neck - think good stage posture, not shrugging. Walk tall on the farmer’s walk/carry (short shuttles or around the room), and lock the glutes at the top of each thrust. Pick your level (3/4/5 sets) and rest up to 2 minutes; the goal is sustainable heat, not a one-song burnout.

Extra Credit: Use 6 lb+ (3 kg+) dumbbells minimum.
