It's Fine. is a lower body workout that maintains its composure the way the name suggests - through gritted teeth, in small and manageable installments. Goblet squats and calf raises alternate in blocks of five, each pair separated by a 10-count hold, with one final squat hold at the end just to confirm that everything is, indeed, fine.
The structure is a study in understatement. Five goblet squats is nothing. A 10-count squat hold is manageable. Five more squats on held-open legs is slightly less nothing. The pattern then repeats through the calves - five raises, a 10-count balance on the balls of the feet, five more - before returning to where it started for one last squat hold, arriving on legs that have been quietly accumulating debt the entire time. No single element earns a complaint, which is precisely the design: the workout stays polite while the total grows impolite. Small numbers, held positions, repeated returns - fine, fine, completely fine.
Sink every goblet squat to full depth with your chest tall and hands clasped at your sternum. In the squat holds, settle at parallel and stay quiet - no bouncing, no drifting upward. During the calf raise hold, balance at the very top of the movement, heels high, using a fingertip on a wall only if genuinely needed. The final hold deserves the same depth as the first, whatever your quads have to say about it.
Five, hold, five, repeat. It's fine. Everything is fine. Your legs would simply like to file a brief statement.
Make it Harder: Double every hold to a 20-count.
Make it Easier: Raise the holds to a half squat and skip the final one.
