If I Die, I Die is a cardio workout named for the shrug you give before doing something ambitious anyway. Twenty-rep blocks of high knees, side kicks and climbers keep the engine at full throttle while pairs of jump squats, push-ups and jump burpees drop in like plot twists - two reps at a time, arriving precisely when your lungs would prefer they did not.
The structure is a high-volume endurance session with explosive punctuation. The twenty-rep blocks do the accumulating: high knees and side kicks upright, then two rounds of climbers from the plank, eighty fast reps per set that never let your heart rate settle. The two-rep interruptions are the dark comedy of the piece - two jump squats sounds like a gift until they arrive mid-gasp, two push-ups is a trivial number performed on shaking arms, and the closing two jump burpees are the workout looking you in the eye one last time. Small explosive doses on a fatigued system train exactly the quality the name jokes about: doing the hard thing anyway, repeatedly, at volume.
Keep the high knees at hip height and snap the side kicks out with your torso upright rather than tipping away. Drive the climbers full-range with low hips. When the pairs arrive, spend them properly - full height on the jump squats, full depth on the push-ups, and a genuine jump at the top of every burpee. Two reps deserve two good ones.
Eighty reps of cardio, six reps of consequences, every set. If I die, I die - but you will not, and the next set knows it.
Make it Harder: Turn every pair into five.
Make it Easier: March the high knees and step through the burpees.
