DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Grind House is a dumbbell full-body strength workout with a double feature's worth of honest, unglamorous work. Deadlifts, bent over rows, chest press, goblet squats and single-arm rows - five compound lifts, no gimmicks, no jump scares, just the kind of volume that builds strength the old-fashioned way: one gritty set at a time, in a session that earns its title frame by frame.

This one departs from the usual DAREBEE circuit format: it's a straight-sets strength workout with 60 seconds of rest between sets and exercises, each movement completed in full before the next begins. The programming pulls in both directions on purpose. Deadlifts open the bill while you're strongest, loading the entire posterior chain, and bent over rows follow to work the back while the hinge pattern is still warm. The chest press flips you to pressing, goblet squats hand the load to the legs with a front-loaded weight that forces an upright torso, and single-arm rows close the show with 8 focused pulls per side. Sixty seconds is a working man's rest - long enough to go hard again, short enough that the session keeps a conditioning edge the whole way through.

Deadlift with a flat back and drive through the heels, pushing the floor away rather than hauling the weight up. Row to your lower ribs with elbows leading and zero torso bounce. Press with feet planted and lower the dumbbells with control to chest level. In goblet squats, hug the dumbbell to your chest, sit between your heels and keep the elbows inside the knees at the bottom. Brace the free hand firmly on the bench for single-arm rows and pull without twisting.

No plot, no polish, no mercy - just 90 minutes of grind compressed into one feature. Roll credits, count gains.

Make it Harder: Cut the rest to 45 seconds while keeping every rep strict.

Make it Easier: Drop each exercise to 2 sets and go lighter on the deadlifts and squats.

I really like this website. It doesn't make me overthink what to workout. I would just do one or two of these workouts, walk for 45 minutes and stretch. It makes me feel good.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
