Core Code Workout - complete workout card with exercises and reps
DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Abs
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 4 of 5

Core Code is a side-to-side core stability sequence built around one idea: keep your trunk quiet while your limbs do the talking. You’ll start in forearm plank with 10 plank leg raises (glutes firing, hips staying level), then move straight into 10 plank crunches (knee tracking under the body without piking or shifting your shoulders). From there, the emphasis flips to the lateral chain with 10 side bridges to build controlled hip lift strength, followed by a 10-count hold to “lock in” alignment, and then 10 side plank rotations that train your obliques to rotate smoothly while resisting collapse. The key instruction on the page is the whole point of the design: change sides and repeat the sequence, so you’re building symmetry and teaching both sides to stabilize under the same rules, not just the side that feels naturally better.

The benefits here are nerdy in the best way: anti-rotation strength, lateral hip stability, shoulder packing, and midline endurance that carries over to everything that involves bracing and transferring force. The forearm plank work lights up deep abs and hip flexors, but if you keep the leg raises clean it becomes a glute-driven stability drill instead of a lower-back takeover. The side work is where posture starts to look “organized” again: side bridges and side planks recruit obliques, glute med, and the small shoulder stabilizers that keep your scapula from winging when fatigue sets in. Focus on small, deliberate ranges: ribs down, pelvis stacked, neck long, and breathe behind the brace. If you can exhale without sagging or twisting, you’re doing the real version of the workout.

Extra Credit: Keep the plank throughout, don't drop down.

I appreciate the flexibility of levels and types of workouts and the amazing amount of content being offered for free. The amount and variety of content is overwhelming to start but the filters really help narrow everything down. And if I still can't make a decision, the monthly challenges and daily movements are a great start. One of my favorite features is the video exercise library. When I'm not sure how to do a movement or exercise correctly, it's easy to find and watch a quick tutorial. (The dashboard and ability to create sorted bookmarks of favorite workouts are also very helpful)

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!
