DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Upperbody
Type: Strength
Difficulty: level 1 of 5

Circling Back is a shoulder endurance workout with a corporate calendar's favorite phrase and a very literal interpretation. Arm circles, wide arm circles, two 10-count holds at full extension and closing arm twists - seventy reps and twenty counts per set, all performed with the arms out at shoulder height, per our last discussion.

The structure alternates rotation with stillness, and both are meetings your delts cannot decline. The small circles open the thread - ten tight rotations that feel like nothing until they do not. The first hold follows: arms parked at full extension, motionless, ten counts of pure isometric attendance. Wide arm circles escalate the agenda, sweeping bigger arcs that multiply the leverage, before the second hold circles back to stillness on more tired shoulders. The arm twists close the loop, rotating the whole arm along its length - palms turning skyward and floorward - to touch the rotator muscles the circles missed. Nothing here is heavy. Everything here is continuous, which any shoulder can tell you is a very different email.

Altitude is the entire deliverable: arms at shoulder height from the first circle to the last twist, no drooping between blocks. Keep the small circles small and the wide circles genuinely wide - the difference between them is the workout. In the holds, reach long through the fingertips rather than merely surviving, and keep the twists slow and full.

Just circling back on this - your shoulders have seen the thread and will be burning by end of day.

Make it Harder: Double both holds to a 20-count.

Make it Easier: Drop your arms for one breath between blocks.

I have always wanted to find a place that would meet me at my level wherever I am, encourage me to stay motivated, fit in my busy schedule, not require a gym membership, offer variety, be fun, help me feel like part of a team without leaving my house, and still be affordable. That has been my dream. So Darebee.com makes my dream a reality. It does all that and more. I would highly, highly recommend this site to absolutely anyone.

BUT what I think is at least as great is the design and functionality of the website. It is just so clean and well organized. I love the filter functions, they work very well and you can find exactly what you need in seconds. Also the bookmark feature is just awesome! The way you can organize the bookmarks, create different collections and sort them so efficiently is very thoughtful and way better than I have seen it on many bigger platforms. I think it is just an example where one can see that the Darebee team not only strives to create the best workouts but for excellence on every level. Tank you! You are doing an awesome job!

After more than a decade, and after trying countless websites and apps, it's still my number one choice for workout plans and creative exercise inspiration. Unlike other apps and sites, the full experience is available regardless of ability to pay; even when the job market has been tough, Darebee has been there with accessible, effective workouts to help keep me on track when other obstacles crop up. Whether it's a full workout, or a little challenge to supplement other routines, Darebee has ALWAYS had me covered. The wide variety of skill levels available means that I can find something, even if injured, tired, or simply out of practice. Need to work on something specific? Pick a challenge for it. Injured? Rehab workouts and exercise alternatives abound. Not sure how to use all those dumbbells you somehow acquired over the years? No problem--you can find workouts with that equipment. In conclusion: Darebee is pretty rad; an awesome, effective resource, that anybody who needs a bit of sweat and strength in their lives can appreciate. Thanks to the Darebee team for their dedication, hard work, and commitment!
