DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 3 of 5

Back To Business is a cardio and mobility workout for the return you make before you're ready to call it a comeback. Jumping jacks, jack squats, hero squats, bicep extensions and side shoulder taps - a genuinely complete little session wearing the world's most honest disclaimer in its own title. Fully back? No. Moving again, with a plan and a pulse? Absolutely. The "sort of" is doing load-bearing work, and so are you.

The circuit runs without rest between exercises and eases you back into the office in two departments. The first row is the legs' return memo: jumping jacks re-establish bounce and rhythm, jack squats convert that bounce into wide, deep landings, and hero squats fold the whole body from a full overhead reach down into a deep squat and back - the biggest range of motion on the poster, performed ten times, like a formal re-introduction to your own hips. The second row hands the workload to the arms at double volume: 20 bicep extensions and 20 side shoulder taps, light enough to be gentle, long enough to be felt. Nothing here demands yesterday's fitness. Everything here rebuilds the habit that produces tomorrow's.

Keep jumping jacks full and springy with arms reaching overhead. Land jack squats in a genuinely wide stance, hips sinking to parallel before the feet snap back. In hero squats, reach tall, fold deep with control, and grow all the way back up through the fingertips. Keep the arm work deliberate - full extensions, taps landing at the shoulders, no rushing the easy stuff just because it's easy.

Sort of back is still back. The business, it turns out, mostly needed someone to show up - and look who did.

Make it Harder: Double the hero squats to 20 and take the jacks at full pace.

Make it Easier: Step the jumping jacks as half jacks and shallow the squats to a comfortable depth.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
