6-6-10 Workout - complete workout card with exercises and reps

DAREBEE Workout: What it Works
Focus: Fullbody
Type: Metcon
Difficulty: level 4 of 5

6-6-10 is a workout compressed into its own name: six exercises, six reps each, ten seconds of rest between sets. Burpees, jump squats, reverse lunges, push-ups, plank jump-ins and superman stretches - a complete full-body circuit where the numbers do the talking and the ten-second rest does the damage.

The rep count is modest by design because the rest period is the real variable. Ten seconds is just long enough to stop moving and not nearly long enough to recover, so each set begins with the previous one still in your lungs. The exercise order manages that debt cleverly: burpees and jump squats front-load the explosive, breath-stealing work; reverse lunges downshift to controlled single-leg strength; push-ups and plank jump-ins move the load to the upper body and core while your legs bank a partial recovery; and the superman stretch closes each circuit by flipping you over and extending everything the previous five exercises spent flexing - six reps of posterior chain work disguised as a breather.

Perform the burpees at a steady rhythm rather than a sprint - six reps repeated across sets rewards pacing over heroics. Land the jump squats soft and sink straight into the next rep. Keep the push-ups full-depth even when breathing hard, jump both feet in and out with your hands planted firm, and lift into each superman stretch with a squeeze rather than a swing.

Six, six, ten. Three small numbers, one honest workout - the last one is the one that gets you.

Make it Harder: Add a push-up to every burpee.

Make it Easier: Stretch the rest to thirty seconds between sets.

I really like this website. It doesn't make me overthink what to workout. I would just do one or two of these workouts, walk for 45 minutes and stretch. It makes me feel good.

Grateful for your promise in keeping this site accessible and free for people of all fitness levels & goals around the world. Found Darebee some time years ago and used to just save the workouts and then forget about them somewhere in my documents & to do later lists 😅 but coming back to the site this year I loved the organised/simple layout & navigation of the site with full workout video at bottom to see proper form and notes to make things easier or harder depending on your fitness/energy aswell as an extensive exercise library with joint friendly alternatives. I found it much easier to track/check off completed workouts & days on program/plan on dashboard, was more likely to remember & do it + advanced filter made it quick to find a doable workout. As a tiny way to support this site I made account and use the site exclusively for exercises now, will look to donate when I can 🙏🏽 and would recommend it to all I talk to regarding fitness. Thank you Darebee team for the great job you've all done here and keep up the good work. Blessings to you all.
