Vegetable Seasoning

This all-purpose blend goes with literally everything but it especially shines with sauteed veggies, stir-fries and soups. Add a tablespoon of this blend to whatever is cooking and the entire kitchen will be filled with a delightful spice aroma. You don’t need any other seasoning if you use this mix.

Once blended, keep it in a sealed container in the fridge. It’ll last well for weeks. Use as needed. Most dishes only need a heaping tablespoon.

INGREDIENTS
½ cup fresh parsley
½ cup spring onions
1 leek
1 large onion
10 garlic cloves, peeled
1 red bell pepper, deseeded
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon thyme
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ cup water

1Peel and cut onion, skin garlic cloves and roughly chop parsley and spring onions.

2Combine in a food processor with dry herbs and spices, add water and blend. You can make it chunkier by using a pulse blend setting. Transfer to a tupperware and keep refrigerated. Use as needed.
