Keep a bag of green beans in the freezer and you can make this spicy side dish any time in roughly half an hour. It goes well with any type of meat or fish or can be served on its own.
1/2 lb [ 250g ] green beans, frozen
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon olive oil

1Mix the green beans with the rest of the ingredients in an ovenproof dish. If you are using fresh green beans, add a tablespoon of water.
2Cover with foil and roast in the oven at 200C for 25 minutes.
3Uncover, mix and roast for another 10 minutes. Serve hot!
