Salsa is a good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium, Copper and Manganese, and a very good source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Vitamin B6. This salsa recipe is low in sodium, and very low in saturated fat and cholesterol.

¼ lemon juice

Instructions

1Finely dice tomatoes and onion. Combine with lemon juice, mix and serve.

Tips

  • Use ripe tomatoes. The best tomatoes will have aromatic smell. Keep your tomatoes in the pantry and not in the fridge, they will have deeper flavor.
  • If you don't like the bite of the onions, soak them in boiling hot water for 3 minutes, drain and then add them to the tomatoes
