Replace rice with cauliflower and instantly lower its carbohydrate content and, by adding peas to it, increase its protein amounts. It’s filling and you can eat as much of it as you can physically fit in, guild free!

2lb (1kg) cauliflower
1 cup peas, frozen
1 onion (optional)
½ cup water

1Grate the cauliflower using a manual grater. Alternatively, split it into individual florets and place it into a food processor.Grind it on pulse setting until it becomes rice-like.
2Dice the onion and combine it with ground cauliflower and peas (you can take them directly from the freezer) in a large pan. Mix well and add ½ cup of water.
3Cover the pan with a lid and saute the cauliflower rice for 5 minutes at high heat. Open the lid, stir it well and saute for another 3 minutes. Serve hot.
