This black bean spread is very low in saturated fat and cholesterol. It is also a good source of protein, Thiamin, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Manganese, and a very good source of dietary fiber and Folate.
It goes well with any type of bread or as a vegetable dip. Add it to vegetable and/or bean wraps.

½ lemon juice
2 garlic cloves
½ tablespoon ginger or 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
½ teaspoon salt
