    Happy Sunday Pushers!

Tomorrow week 3 begins! in week 1 we started with 5 per day, in week 2 with 7 per day. What do you think about 9 per day in week 3? That would be another increase of 2 and also an even number throughout the week. So we have a total of 63 for the coming week. But you can also do them throughout the day if you like - nobody will stop you, because the Pushers are unstoppable

Or are there other sugesstions for the coming week that would suit all of us even more? We are open to suggestions In the end, it is just a goal we set us - if you want to do more or even less, thats fine as well - the prime goal is that we return to the Pushers Club and stick to our routine and therefore to our improvement

    So, keep pushing bees:

I agree with the +2 increase. If we want this to last for weeks or even months, we can't have too steep a curve at the very beginning.

So, 63 for next week (as a minimum target) is fine by me. And of course, we know we can always do more, so...

          Week 2 done today:
          - 10 regular pushups
          - 10 dragon
          - 10 stacked
          - 10 side crunch
          - 9 wide grip

9 per day/63 a week sounds great to me

Reporting in with 49/49 standard push-ups for week 2. As I was sick at the start of the week my numbers were all over the place from 18/day to 6/day. Planning to do just 9 every day next week.

              Handstand Push-Ups
              Week 1 ~ 35/35
              Week 2 ~65/49

So I finished the second week with a little more today (30) and if my strength wasn't stopping me I'd do even more. I'm already seeing progress (better form, getting down a little further and being able to hold an unsupported Push-Up for a few secs).
This quest is great, keep up everybody

I guess pushups done as part of a program also qualify to be counted here, right?

So as reported i already did my 49 pushups for week 2. Therefore i will count the pushups today for the fill of week 1.

Did 46 pushups on/with dumbbells (Day 29 of Ironborn).

                So my stats are:

                Week 1 ~ 46/35
                Week 2 ~ 49/49

Nebulus, I think the idea here is to do the push-ups on top of our regular training. Which is also why we're keeping the numbers reasonable for now.

                    Redline Sounds reasonable
After reading your post i got off my chair and did 35 classic pushups.
So my corrected stats are now:

                    Week1 ~ 35/35
                    Week2 ~ 49/49

Week2 - 49/49 (nothing fancy, just regular push ups)
I guess I still need to make up for week 1 though

                      TheLibrarian - 9 a day sounds good

not necessarily! if you like, surely, you can do the reps for week 1 - or just stick to the actual week! just imagine: in Week 20 new participants join us, that would be really mean if they should do all the previous ones ... but on the other hand, I like that idea ... ok, perhaps you should really do week 1 - just making fun, its your decision! keep pushing
glad that you like the new number for week 3 and congratulations on finishing week 2!!!

I finished week 2 on Saturday, and have finished 50/63 for week 3.

And I totally agree - it's okay to start at week 1 without having to play catchup, if that's where your fitness level is at!
