Oh hey Amirsh...Totally forgot to update. Things are looking up. I have an interview tomorrow for a secretary position. Also I've been working from home trading Cryptocurrecy. I think I'll be able to support myself with that if push comes to shove.
So, better than expected. Thanks for asking

    Hey Sevalys
You know, I have considered working from home. That specific company is new to me, but it looks good. I'll give it a shot. Maybe that kind of gig is what I'm looking for.
Thanks for the kind words also Kaleo and Amirsh
I'll be sure to come back and share some good days, soon.

    Hello bashland

I just saw your post in "trending" and thought I could maybe help you. I've searched a long time for a job suiting me and since a few weeks I found!
Did you ever consider working from home? If you like Internet maybe it could suits you too. There are some tests to pass before being engaged and you have to be independent worker but after that it is well paid (at least for my country). You can read more and apply here.

Anyway, I wish you best of luck to find the perfect job for you!

oneironaut Thanks, man. Something will change soon, somehow. Just because I don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

Also, good reminder with the self-care. Gotta keep up with meds, meditation, workout and kitty pats. 😺

Also, thought working before for a competitor meant I would have the skill set needed to just jump right in. I was not ready. No need to dwell and rant on it too much, but I think the worst part was when the office manager had to come back after her shift to pick up the slack, I was that far behind. So I have a job, may or may not be able to keep, and only making about half what I need for rent and bills as is.
The plan is to go in early tonight and practice with the software. Then job search in the mornings. Keep pushing through the fear until something changes.
I'd make sure to thank the office manager for the help (rather than apologize) and it sounds like you are driven to get things right which they'll hopefully notice. I'm on week 2 of my new job and it came with a load of issues I hadn't anticipated (and some really tight deadlines). If you're still in the first 3 weeks, they should expect a learning curve (or be providing more formal training).

Whatever happens though or however you end up feeling make sure to keep taking care of yourself (self preservation). I feel like I'm pushing through the fear right now too and hopefully will have a positive impact but it feels like I'm facing some huge hurdles. Definitely keep looking if you want/need full time also.

Not sure any of that helps too much but I can at least kinda identify and I'm rooting for you to figure it out (short term and long term).

Push through until you make it or get a better idea about how to proceed.
    Goodluck
