        I finished week 19, including 176 uneven or box pistol squats and 80 close squats.

        The challenge is truly great, but I'm afraid this is where I have to bow out.

        I am transitioning to uneven squats and box pistol squats aiming to single leg squats. For me they require much more strength, it is too much for me accruing all the remaining reps to complete each week doing normal squats.
        It's harder and harder for me to add so many normal squats to my training on a daily basis. I've been using them as a warm-up and as a finisher on my lower body days, as well as a through-the-day on the upper body and sometimes even on rest days, but my legs are always somewhat sore. I need to focus on the uneven reps with some real rest in between.

        It was still a great ride and I'm very happy that I did it. Thanks bees, and all the best for finishing the challenge.

                          Hi sunpetal I left the challenge with its weekly pattern, but I didn't want to leave you alone.

                          Today I completed Week 20, with 195 close squat and 267 uneven squat.
                          Will slowly go on aiming at one leg squat.

                            sg135 Aww, thanks! I started overloading myself with activity and have taken a couple weeks off the squats, but I'll be back at it soon. That's some good squat progress!

                              Just putting a note here that the link in the first post to give ideas for variations on a squat just goes to the Darebee YouTube main page. I think the video might have got deleted or the link changed.

                                Saffity Hmm...Does it populate with a search for squats for you? When I click it I see a list of videos with squats.
