    Vegatas advice [experiment]

So I remember this scene when I was younger (10 or so) but I didn't think how to go about it. Now that I'm older and know some things I want to see what would happen if I followed this advice.

IWillGoSuperSaiyan would you be interested in joining this experiment?

Kakarot This is basically what I am doing these days. I am using an app to measure pushups and just doing 50% of my max. I am not aiming for a high amount though, just about 100 per day.

CaptainCanuck something like that app yes.
IWillGoSuperSaiyan you can keep doing your weights but you'll also do 50% of you max push ups and sit ups throughout the day every day, for example I just stopped at 4 sets of 8 push ups and 3 sets of 15 sit ups but tomorrow I may do 5, 8 or 15 sets depending on how early I wake up.

Kakarot, I don't have access to heavy weights in my own time, so I may be able to join this.

I'm aiming for 1,000 Push-ups, I don't think I have enough time for it though.

I still have 28 days till test day but I did a modest 32 push ups and 60 sit ups. The goal is not to do as many as possible but do them every day. I highly doubt you'll do 500 push ups every day but if you do I'll be impressed but you may have real trouble on down the line.

Kakarot, you are right, I will not be doing 500 Pushups a day, for multiple reasons. 1. I need rest, I will gain progress faster with rest periods. and 2. I don't want to do 500 Push-ups a day lol.

Yesterday I did 40 push ups and 75 sit ups.

I think today I will add it up to 10 push ups but stick to 15 sit ups.

Damer could you possibly move this thread to the playground section? Thanks.

IWillGoSuperSaiyan are you still doing this with me? If not that's completely fine.

So to distribute the volume of exercise and still keep me interested I moved the exercises around (the schedule is on my profile) but I am also going to restart the 30 day dead hang challenge to help me get more pull ups. Grip is my biggest weakness when it comes to pull ups but I also struggle to pull with my lats when I use pronated grip.

So today I did 12 minutes skipping (6 on/off) to warm up and then I decided to do a new technique to increase my push up reps and did 30 regular and 20 knee reps continuously with a 10 second rest to stretch my shoulders after I hit failure on the regular.

Consider also the flexible hang challenge (in this way your muscle works with a different angle)
and also the routine that you find here

The YouTube channel of this guy is focused on grip and is very interesting
