Log your personal goals and progress here, support each other, share information about pull-ups.... and have fun!

Once we have our team challenge sorted, I will edit this one...

    Counting down reps it is:
Just subtract your reps* from the total team count, until we are down to zero. Then a new level will start...

Let's see, if we can beat 2019!

    Happy pulling in 2020...

2020 looks like the perfect year to reclaim my 20 in a row badge... after 2019 being a desaster for pullups, it is a big goal, let's see how close I can get...

I want obtain the badge for 20 pull ups in a row.
However, my big and long term goal is: try to have both OAC and OAP

I'm in! Earlier today I got my first ten pull-ups of the year. My count so far is 10 / 2020.

29 hammer grip pull-ups to start 2020 well

My goals for pull-ups for this year are: to improve execution and make this exercise a constant part of my training and yes ... I wouldn't mind doing 20 pull-ups in a row

I'm attempting to get my first chin up or pull up this year. I struggled a lot last year. I think because I never really knew what plan to follow - my upper strength is just not there.

I do know I just need to be consistent and keep trying. No going entire months before putting in some work and then stopping less than a month in!

Thanks! I'll be using pull up mates Beginner to 10 chinups - I'll be cycling through week 1 until I can get 3x10 reps chair assisted (at the moment my body gives out in the 6-8rep range).

It's trivial, but I am in.

This week I did 121 (total in the year: 121)

I don't really have any solid goals at the moment; I might try to get to 15 in a row, or more if I can. Maybe I'll also try to get to a total of 5000 for the year?

You'll get there! I was the same. I finally got my very first ever pull-up a year and a half ago and am still trying to get a second in a set. Sometimes I come close, sometimes it's just not happening. keep working every upper-body strength workout you can. Dead hangs and bench presses help a lot.

                      Good luck!

And for my year goal - 20 / 2020 soooooo not helping that I picked up the crud that's going around.

                        My 2020 goal is 10 pull-ups in a row. Also be consistent with doing pull-ups & chin-ups.

I want to seriously try this year.

So, my goal for the year would be doing 10 pull-ups in a row. As for first step would be doing a pull-up properly, and this month I'm trying the Flex Hang Challenge, and doing 10 rows daily.
