In this thread we are working on running longer and/or faster

The rules are simple, Do as much running and/or Sprinting each week as you can (know your limits and do not overtrain) until the end of summer late August or early September. But most importantly have fun with your fellow hive members!
To measure your progress, have someone time your:
Everyone who wants to join can just jump in but, please be sure to measure your times on the above distances!
Feel free to invite and add others.
By the end of august (there is no strict deadline) we will test ourselves again with the four benchmarks above. Let me know if you have any questions.

Note: Please, please, PLEASE, if you never run or cannot run a mile, please talk to us to see how you can modify.

- 40 yard dash
- 100 yard sprint
- mile time (if you can not run a mile see how fast you can walk one or lightly jog.)
- 5 km (if you cannot run a 5k then you do not have to measure it)
