    Well, my races for this weekend got cancelled due to weather, buuuut, I angered the Knee God doing the lunge jumps for the DD. I did some jumping jacks today, so I'll try skipping tomorrow since the knee seems much better. It just gets cranky sometimes.

        Hey, so I will be taking a few weeks off from skipping as I am currently training to do a marathon to raise money for my local Royal British Legion Youth Section (I am a leader there). Every year we do some kind of fund raiser to help pay for the kids to go and do summer activities such as kayaking and such. They are a very sporty bunch so I try to set fitness related events every summer that are impressive or seen as difficult and people are asked to sponsor them. Last year we did a "triathlon" in my home gym, we each did 5 minutes on the treadmill, 1 minute on the exercise bike and one minute on my multi gym rower.
        The plan is to do a marathon, either this year at some point or next year before the summer.
        I'm sorry but I will return some day.

              Hey all, sorry it's been so long. I was trying to get into running and didn't have time to skip and I ended up in a slump. Going to get back into it starting today. I am going to MMA with my brother later so will do some skipping tomorrow.

                685 Behind target. Backlog 685.

                With such a big backlog, had to consider to forget or recover. Going for the recover option, more jumping this week

                  After being sick and then trying to recover, I am skipping again! Five minutes of 30/30 today. Feels so good!

                    Foxeh good to see you're back on you feet .

                    I know I said I'd get back into skipping but then I got into one punch man and found the One Punch Man Challenge and decided to start it as well as starting MMA and wrestling with my brother. I haven't touched my rope in nearly 2 months and to be honest, I'm enjoying the one punch man challenge so probably won't be skipping for a while .
                    So I will be absent from this thread (I'll still check in every so often).

                        Another five minutes of 30/30 today. I've started double bouncing, which I thought was cool at first, but it seems to be a bad habit. I may need a faster rope. I'm still using the cheapie I got at Target.

                          Another five minutes of 30/30 yesterday. I went slow and concentrated on only jumping when it was time. Retraining stinks. Oh, well.

                              Ugh, I had a race last week so I fell off the skipping wagon a bit. But today I did five more minutes of 30/30, again going slower and jumping deliberately, although I am starting to pick up the pace a bit. Tomorrow's workout is going to be a short one, so I may skip two days in a row.

                                Second verse, same as the first! Hit a good stride at one point today, but my bad leg was trailing quite a bit, too.
