    The 100 challenge - Everybody's welcome !

    Quick rules :
    100 push-ups , 100 abs, attempted for 100 days.

Set up a start date, try to do 100 abs & 100 push-ups daily, and see how many days you've done it in 100 days.

    Details :
You can setup your start date whenever you desire, just be sure to post it below.
The day counts only if you did 100 push-ups, and 100 abs. Less than that doesn't count.
They don't have to be together, so you can do sets of : 20 x 5 times.
You don't have to do it for 100 consecutive days, however, once you set a start date, you will count how many times you did the workout in the upcoming 100 days.
Videos preferred ( public or private, just link in ), but we'll take your word for it as well. Videos can be on the phone or anything you want.
If you stopped for a day or two, even a week or a month, just return whenever you want to get back into it. Your progress may even look like 50 / 100 but that's a lot better than 0 / 100 .

You can keep track of them here :

    ( thanks neilarey ! )

    Cheers !

P.S. : We came up with a method for recovering the lost days. For every lost day, you need to do 1x the amount of exercises, and you can consider the day recovered, but have to keep track of it specifically.

EDIT : if 100 is too much or too little for you, please feel free to accommodate to a number that fits better to you. 50 , 200 , you name it , we're here to help, to keep pushing and motivating one another ! so everyone's welcome to the challenge ^^

      First day done ! 1 / 1 yay.
      Took me 4 x 25 abs , 33 + 30 + 17 + 30 push-ups ( I completely lost track of counting as I was doing something else in-between ) ).
Videos are on the ipad, ipad is charging, I need a program that mixes videos together and cuts parts ( I was fooling around a lot ) on the ipad.
      Life is love.

Second day is complete : 2/2

        10 + 20 + 25 + 25 + 25 Abs , 40 + 30 + 30 push-ups.

I feel quite tired, the inner side of my right arm's biceps is in pain. Thinking of the days when I'll have 100 sessions of 1 push-up

Dinomaniak I'll join in. Just one question, can they be done every other day I.e. Monday Wednesday and Friday?

I'm at 3/4 , lost a day. Yesterday I started playing a game that came out and I've been waiting for years for it, then I realized it's already 1 AM, didn't manage to seize the day .

Kakarot You're welcome to join !
You can do these on any days you want, however the idea is to see how many you can achieve in 100 days. So if you do it 3 days / 7 ( week ) , that would average 43/100 . That would mean : in 100 days you'd have done 43 days of workout, which I'd say is fantastic when compared to my last 100 days ) .

Dinomaniak is any variations of the push up allowed? It's just that I have a bad elbow, hyper extended it in MMA training about 2 - 3 months ago and it is ok but when I do any full weight push ups it gets sore. Can I choose any abdominal exercise I want? Also, I am adding a pull movement if that is ok.

Had two beers earlier with friends, but still, done ! no clue why, but although the exercises felt really difficult to do, once I completed all my 100 x each, I felt like I could go for 30-40 more. - 4 / 5 .

Kakarot any variation of push-ups will do, I think they should be closer to push-ups & abs as it's possible for you.
The more important, general idea, is to keep a workout routine, and mentally accept you'll be working out on a regular ( possibly daily ) basis.
                  Cheers !

                    Dinomaniak I think I understand.

I still think adding a back exercise would help put off developing imbalances.

I'll start on January 1. I might put up a video as I have a YouTube account.

                    BlackButler would this interest you?

                        4 / 7 - Just got home after family holiday ( after 12 PM ).
As a conclusion after the past few failed days - I need to start doing the workout earlier in the day, while I still have time. Such an obvious thing that I would've never realized if it weren't for this thread.

6 / 9 - went for 53 push-ups one after another. Today is the first day that I'm considering doing more than 100 / day .
