I ordered a pull up bar this morning (and a dip belt), so I see some decent work ahead of me. Before I begin to go after my Goal 2019, I have to finish 380 reps. There are 15 days left, so an average of 26 will do the job. That could/should work!
      Have fun and pull hard!

If you want to target a 1 arm chin you will need a solid 20 plus 2 arms combined with a one digit BF% and even then it is far from granted... tendon strength and recovery protocols will be handy too to manage the required volume without tendonitis.

              HellYeah80 Thanks for tagging me.

My goal for 2019 would be to get to 20 pull ups in one go. Right now I can do 15. I'm switching from bodyweight only pull up training to one mixed with weighted ones. I'm also slowly training for the one arm pull up.

I'll go ahead an jump in. I've been doing heavy pull ups (10 sets of 3 reps) and really enjoying them. Right now I'm at using an additional 50lbs with my dip belt so I'll set my goal as reaching 100lbs for at least some sets. This all depends on my shoulder holding out under the weight.

I did my first dead hang yesterday for about a millisecond. Today I was able to hang for 6 seconds. My goal for 2019 is to do 1 pull up. Just the one. Cause if i can do 1, I can do 20 eventually. So, if this qualifies me to join this group, I'm in!

In fact you are one of the most important persons here.
                    Hope you reach your goals
It took me 2+ months (with daily chosen workouts) for this

Hello everyone! I just joined yesterday, seems like a good thread to start on.

I can do 6 straight on a good day. I'd like to get to 10 and get that badge.
jenniferlcd my wife got from zero to one by doing negatives. Worked wonders for her. Also lat pulldowns help.

My goal is pretty "easy": my goal is to reach 15 to 20 reps. I am at 10, 11 now, so this should be doable. I don't want to put it the goal higher, as I have to do a lot other stuff like running and getting faster and things like that.
So little goals and little steps...

Wow, so much pulling all over the Hive. Like it! Love it!
Go for it, even it is 1, 10, 15 or 20, or even more.

Welcome everybody, especially the new pullers. The threads I linked in the initial post, provide some good help, where to begin. So, have a look.
