    Full Pull

    Hey fellow Darebees,
this is a the journey of a bunch of people who like to pull.
Everyone is counting reps per week. The amount of reps increases every week.
Let's see how far we can get!

    Inspirational Thread: The Pushers

    Rules:
    - Any form of PullUp counts (PullUp/ChinUp/Hammer/Archer....)
    - If you do assisted Pullups, Austrailian or another form of PrePullUp, just label them, when you check them in.
    - You can choose, if you want to do the PullUps additionally or if you count every PullUp you do.
    - Log your progress here, daily or weekly. It's up to you.
    - Starting with 21 reps in week 2, progression is 7 per week.
    - One week per week only, unless you are catching up.
    - If you have to, bend the rules.
    - Feel free to join any time. And tag other Bees

    Difference between PullUp and ChinUp

I think it's a good idea to have such a thread. I currently skip/miss/whatever my pullup workouts quite often. Way too often. So this might help
    me be more consistent.
I guess the hard question will be how to progress the number of pullups so that it's feasible for most of the people and not too boring for more
    proficient pull-uppers
    Anyways, good thing! "Bin dabei"

Hm, I had an idea in my head...lurking for some time now...to get to 20pullups in one go...I just don't know how will this system work/be organized... Do we have to do em additionally to our existing workouts/programs? How often? And how is progression planned?

I'm kinda doing something like this for pulling exercises already this year.
You thinking of setting it up similar to the way Pushers is HellYeah80? A set amount of reps each day and then increase by a set number each week?

Hey folks, welcome? I thought about it quite simililar to the pushers, but not addittional, so you can count in your programs.
About a starting number: 21 sounds like a fair start to me and a progression of 7 per week. So we would have about 350 per week at the end of the year. What do you think?

That sounds cool...How we log progress, here like in posts: week 3 - 35/35, or in our checkin logs?
I'm new here and been reading the pushers, but don't understand it all, they log in days also...? and types of push ups?
Are we going to count chin-ups, and neutral pull-ups (look like hammer curl)?

Progress log would be here, in any format you like, per day or week. That's up to you.
I would also say, any form of pulling with the chin over the bar/rings/grips/fingerboard counts. Its your journey. Less restrictions, more members, I hope.
You can even count a one arm PullUp, but it only counts for 1/2.

21 starting reps in week 1 means 3 per day, right?

Yes, but you can also spread them in other sets. Not so intresting yet, but in a few weeks, it may be a good idea to pull 3 times a week with 4 rest days.

I'm still starting with the pull ups, but I'll try it. The 1st weeks can be doables, I guess, but I'm afraid I'll stuck soon. Anyway, I go!

I suppose that "week 1" is the current week, or maybe it will start the next Monday?

YEAH, welcome! Pushing and pulling, that's how it works!

Week1 is now. And we will pull you out, if you are stuck.
