          Something else.
Jokes aside, the first page of the officially released program states that you should choose a weight you can do 12 bicep curls with. So, moderately heavy will do the trick.

(A little heads-up though: the very first day requires you to do 4 sets of 12 curls with 60 seconds between sets. So, you should actually have a few reps left in the tank when you reach 12, otherwise you won't be able to make it through the exercise.)

          I hope this helps!

GiorgosD Back in the 1960's my first dumbbells where adjustable 15lb by Weider (wish I still had them) I think they're a good starting point. I did the curls with 15lb dumbbells and was good, I always focus on the muscle, tense the bicep on the up and triceps on the down.

In my apartment I only have two 5lb dumbbells, alternative is at my gym 3 days a week.

thinman would resistance bands work? Adjustable dumbbells are very good for a home gym..!

GiorgosD I have a rubber strand chest expander that I forgot about, would work just as well as dumbbells.
