DorothyMH that's awesome we can do horse racing !!
My ,,horse,, can run up the Hills as well !! Up and down, fast and slow...ππ΄π and is super hard too!!
*but because it's not even 1 month since I've been training on it, I still need more time to learn to do the harder cross jumps πππ*
CaptainCanuck what precautions do you take for running outside? I suppose, living in Canada, 300/365 days are like that, so you get used to it, but here south, we see it as an obstacle...
GiorgosD I have running gear for that temperature. I wear one layer of compression leggings, one layer of thermal leggings, shorts, one or two pairs of pants. A moisture wicking compression shirt, a thermal layer, two more layers, and then a jacket on top. One or two pairs of socks. Hat and neck gaiter, two or three pairs of gloves.
Canada is not all that bad, we do get summer here for three months like everyone else

I still have the rest of Heroβs Journey to finish, anyway, so it will be at least March, possibly May (31 day monthsπ¬) before I get to this one!
Can we also keep all the running "challenges"? It's great to have them turned into programs like the new Runner Prime, but it's also nice to keep the original ones because sometimes those feel more compatible with other fitness programs. I mean running programs can be too much if I also want to do an add-on or other stuff. Plus it's just nice to have more choices.
Because the link to the old Runner Prime was broken when I clicked into it in the challenge section, I guessed Darebee planned to get rid of them.
This is very motivating. I'm a sucker for badges - and I'm determined I'll be a runner again.
I'm afraid it will be some time longer until there's no ice and snow on the ground, until I trust my leg muscles not to get pulled from hardly any strain at all, and until it doesn't feel like my organs bounce around inside me with every step.
But the time will come when I once more learn all the little side paths in the park, when I meet foxes in the drizzle and martens in the dark, when my runs get long enough to listen to audiobooks instead of music. I have to believe the time will come. I miss running.
kandy the original Runner Prime PDF is still available (at the moment).
I like the simplicity of the old one-sheeters, and the ability to print off a one page PDF that shows the plan for the entire month (or longer, in some cases).
