    PDF Downloads Temporarily Unavailable

You will notice that, for now, you can't download any PDFs. This is not a glitch. The pandemic lockdown has significantly increased the number of people working out from home. It has also put a strain on our bandwidth as PDF downloads are fairly heavy files. Bandwidth is a heavy drain on our resources. We are trying to negotiate bandwidth extension with our hosting provider. Until we do it our current budget cannot afford to let us stray over our current bandwidth limits which have been exhausted. Good news that we are helping more people than ever to stay healthy, fit and sane in a world that definitely needs all of these qualities. We shall keep you updated on the situation. Stay safe Bees.

For those in dire need of pdfs...

You can download all the images using a freeware like Bulk Image Downloader in one go and then use any online or offline tools to combine those pics into a pdf.

And that helps the bandwidth problem how?

Another idea could be to bundle the PDFs into folders, i.e. muscle groups, levels, type of workout, whatever, and make a big torrent out of it, spreading the load over multiple seeders. If the workouts are cleverly divided into folders, no one (except for those who want to seed the whole thing) has to download the entire torrent but can choose what kind of things they need. This, of course, relies heavily on the community to keep the torrent running, though.

Just to update: workouts, challenges and posters have been enabled. Paperbacks are now available via GDrive. Once we hear back from out hosting provider on the bandwidth billing, the programs will become available as well.

                    We hope this helps

I'm positively sure all filenames are unique, and the official indexing still works, so we can put all files in one folder.

[Edit: Ignore this parragraph, I wasn't paying attention] Big torrent? I'm sure there are people who want all the glorious metric friggton this site has to offer (I'm saying that in the good sense), but none of my poor devices can't handle that, this whole site is intended as a buffet and I prefer to use it as such. And we aren't sure everyone has downloaded everything, so, better bandwidth or not, that big torrent isn't a priority.

Don't trust amateurs' (mine included) uptime. [Edit2: Excluding restricted bandwidth, for the free plan] Mega is good enough.

neilarey Appreciate the update and dedication to keep this site running. I will make a small contribution to help support this operation.
                        DONE!!!

The strength of any team, community, hive depends on its members/bees unifying under a common purpose. Build a strong support base and we will experience elevation.

Downloading pdfs is putting a strain on Darebee servers. It seems saving images locally doesn't do that, since they get loaded as soon as you open them.

It would a bit tough and would take an extra few minutes, but those in utmost need of pdfs can use the technique i said.

MoreSlimThanAQuesadilla I meant an official torrent, not one made by us users. Although taking into account how often the team puts up new workouts, it might not be all that practical. Still an idea I thought of as worth throwing out there.

I'm not webdev (not yet) but the hosting darebee.com seems complex enough for me think the providers wouldn't mind putting a Makefike (an automatic guide for making files) that automatically generates torrent links and seeds them. In that case, I would set up my computer to seed the files only if the normal links are not working lol.

I'm still entertaining this idea because the current funding status ('very low' on the bottom of most pages) doesn't seems like a good moment to escalate budget

neilarey and especially Damer what do you think about this?
