DorothyMH During the day I was thinking what if the team decides to close the site down...
This place is so full of humanity besides being perfect for fitness. It makes life so much better.

By the way, I notice that there have been much more options for text formatting since yesterday. Is it something new?

DaithiMeyer thank you! We take our duty to this place and to every person who uses it really seriously. To that end there is almost nothing we wouldn't do to maintain it. Corporations are not noted for putting their user base first and it is this difference of approach that makes this place so special and every Bee count. We could do with a little more sleep this weekend but it is beginning to look unlikely but, there are a few positives coming out of this as it gives us the opportunity to streamline some things and put in a few improvements too.

I wish I could help with more than just moral support, but that's all I've got for now.

So thank you very much, Darebee team, for all your efforts, past, present and future. Last night there was a little gratitude ritual in my circle of friends and one of the first things to come to my mind was this website with its community. I owe you many healthy habits and I always find encouragement here. This is a real gem you've built here and I'm sure it's not a fragile one either: Darebee will get through this mess and shine even brighter afterwards.

Yes, we here need to stay together! I really love to have free access even I donated at my first visit. Now again and I hope the money will be received by the right organization, hopefully.
Do not be discouraged when faced with this attack.
                            Thanks for your great job.

The personal folders are great. All the daily updates and the forum are fantastic. But even without this, Darebee is a great resource. You handled it perfectly and most people have downloaded their personal favourites. We can handle that and we will wait patiently. The Darebee team does a great job managing this! Don‘t worry too much and don‘t forget to get rest and relaxation.

Thank you for all the hard work to be back online without much downtime and data loss.

It is sad that a hacker took advantage of a vulnerability / weak spot in the security. Keeping content so many Darebee fans care about under hostage for money is a bute act.

When I take a look at the challenges/programs/content that are published online. A static website that is read only (generated from a offline / shadow datasource) is less prone to hack attacks.

The forum/hive section that depends on third party software and plugins can best be hosted on a subdomain. When a one day exploit is known it can't disrupt the main content.
