    IDs & Cross Device Tracking

IDs & Cross Device Tracking / Added

Aaaand we are LIVE. DAREBEE now has cross devices tracking! It's activated through the new ID feature. You can now create an ID and use it to store your tracking for programs, challenges, running plans & DDs using the database rather than the traditional browser-based cookies. It is now an extra option. You can continue using your browser cookies, if you want, you don't need to register an ID, simply continue using the resource the way you always have. If you do want to track your progress across devices and across browsers (it's handy when you use the resource at work and then at home or want to switch from PC to tablet etc) - create an ID and the system will save your progress & your folders across devices. You will be able to access your DAREBEE materials and tracking progress from anywhere, always.

Your ID can be anything, you can even use the same details you use for the Hive (nickname & password). You do need to register it again, though, since the DAREBEE database and the Hive are two different systems: we keep them separate for practical and security reasons - if one goes down, the other one stays up and vice versa.

    Important!
    - Back everything up before you log in for the first time. Just in case. Write down your folder contents (or open them in new tabs to re-save) and your current progress in a Notepad, GoogleDocs or a piece of paper.
    - Once you log in, you will need to enter your progress again and save it for the system to register it. If you don't remember what it was, log out and check - your browser-saved progress is still there.

We are now running final tests to make sure everything is running smoothly. We will be adding additional help files explaining how the systems works for future reference. Please let us know what you think and if everything works ok on your end. We hope you like it and you find it useful!

    - DAREBEE Team

Note: The Age of Pandora currently only works with your browser memory (cookies).

    It's a wonderful facility.

I think that a hierarchy in the folders can be very useful to organize the "own" workouts

Some of my folders were missing, and my challenges and stuff were cleared out, but no biggie! I am excited about this!

I screwed up and created an account on my work computer...most of my progress is saved on my tablet. If I log in from my tablet will it just be the stuff saved on my work computer now?

K e l l y yeah, it should pick up only what you've saved. You could register a different ID from your tablet, though, and then it'll pick up your data from there.
I can also delete your current ID if you want so you can create it again

I created a new log-in about an hour ago, then checked my folders and programs, I only had 3 folders but only the one I had opened last was still there, and my programs just didn't show days completed, but if I went into any given day my check boxes for the moves were still checked. As for challenges they were cleared out. But as I am fairly new it was easy to fix most. I just haven't redone my folders yet.

Trbrat75 thank you for the feedback! We don't know how it'll respond in different cases and browsers just yet so we need as much data as possible

                        Chrome on Windows 10
After I created an ID, my progress in Athena's Playbook and a challenge dissappeared, but they were opened in different tabs at the same time. Logged in on iPad, the progress I saved after creating my ID is there, though the folders are empty. They show on the PC, though.

                        Hope this helps!

Thank you, this feature is very helpful!

Thanks for all the hard work! I forgot to open the stuff from my folders in new tabs so I could redo them so all folders except the last used one got deleted. Oh well, off to re- add everything
