I managed to finish Fit Christmas just a few days after the holiday season I modified Day 8 to 20 side jacks and 8 incline shoulder taps so not to put to much pressure on my right shoulder. With Day 11 it was the first time since my accident I did jumping jacks. It went well so it is going in the right direction I finished my workout with some stretching. The exercises in Foundation Light Day 4 works very well for my shoulder so I finished the training session with this workout.

Power Walk Challenge: Day 3 (2min march steps)

            Comments
Today I opted for a rest and recovery day. My left hand and right shoulder is getting better for every day. It is now important not to rush things but to remember to take some rest days to fully recover. My body feeds stronger than it actually is.

Wolfen thanks and welcome to my humble home in the Hive : ) From your profile I can see that you, like me, belong to the rare species of bees that actually love burpees

I felt ready to continue my journey and decided to travel through the woods to make up for some of the lost time. While travelling through the woods I found the remains of a camp fire from long ago. It looked like there had been som sort of skirmish. While I was poking around for clues about what had happen I found a necklace with a silver pendant in the shape of a dragon egg. Somehow I felt it radiated positive energy. It was maybe a bit careless of me but I therefore decided to put it around my neck. I felt rejuvenated while doing so.

I was threading my way through dense and thick woods fording small streams and creeks. It was difficult terrain but I had no other choice than to press on.

                        A Hero’s Journey
Suddenly the woods opened up into a glade. There were 4 black stone columns which made a rectangle. A person stood silently In the centre of the rectangle and watched me. We starred at each other for a moment and then he said solemnly: “You are and will never be a hero”. I replied: “I dare you wrong”. He laughed for a moment and then said: “Fine – In that direction you will find a bridge. If you reach it before sunset you are free to pass. But if you don’t make pass the bridge before sunset you will forever be trapped in this forest and you will in all eternity search for a way out of the forest.” I started running not looking back. I had to crawl under tumbled trees blocking the path more than once. I reached the bridge just before the last sun rays disappeared and with a last effort of strength I managed to pass the bridge.

I continued for awhile in the twilight until it became too dark to continue. I still felt troubled by the presence of the Oracle so I did not dare to light a fire. I gathered some twigs and found a small hiding place near the road. I used the twigs as an underlay and wrapped my blanket around me. I tossed and turned the whole night. It was not easy to find rest. It certainly was a night to remember.

Next morning I continued my journey through the woods. Finally at noon I reached the last bridge which marked the end of the forest. It was a rope bridge which crossed a tearing river. I started to cross the bridge when it started collapsing. I decided to try to clear the bridge with a single jump. It was a close call but I managed to jump to the other side not loosing my backpack or any of my other belongings.
