I've thought about getting a watch with a built in HRM, too. I don't know whether I'd like it, in part because I read you need to wear it fairly tight in order for the HRM to work. Do you find that to be true with yours?

Under 50 BPM for a RHR is really low, in a good way!

Britt0 I have a Garmin Forerunner 235. I chose this watch after reading the review by DC Rainmaker.

I don't like if the watch strap is to tight so I wear my watch fairly loose which isn't a problem for the HRM. I tighten it when I train and use a chest strap when running.

I have slim wrists and visible veins. Sometimes my watch rests on my wrist which isn't a problem neither.

                    Saturday, December 3
                    Boxer Prime: Day 1 lv1
                    Advent Calendar Day 2-3
DD: 60 Forward Lunges completed with ec
Totals Day 13 (Squats done with 2*10kg kettlebells - lunges done as walking lunges with 2 * 5 kg dumbbells)
                    Fit Christmas Day 1 lv3
                    Chin-ups (dead hang): 5/5/5
Amazon lv1 (jumping squats done as box jumps)
                    Deadlift: 5 reps (50kg) - 3 reps (80kg) (as a finisher)

Today I went to the gym at work. I just had one of those days where I felt worn out from the beginning of the 1 set of Boxer Prime. Just zapped of energy.

So I could either call it a day or give it a go. I had the gym all for myself so I put Neil Young 'Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere' on the music player and went for a full blown power and endurance training session. What a great session - I just hit the Zone and it was one of those sessions which just cleansed my mind, body and spirit

Wow, that's an amazing session you had, Sundance !
And yeah, sometimes we feel listless and the prospect of working out seems like a chore... but once we get into it, there's just no stopping us.

                          Fit Christmas Day 2 lv3

I started the day winter swimming in Copenhagen Harbour. The water is now 3*C. For me the season began 3 weeks ago and I swim either Saturday or Sunday morning so I can enjoy the sunrise over the harbour. There is a sauna at the harbour bath so it is pure luxury

Winter swimming is almost a workout in itself When training later in the day I have the feeling of already having done a workout. It is especially true for the cardiovascular system. Maybe it is reinforced by the fact that I train outside.
