I have decided to do the strength workouts with my weighted vest to maintain the intensity now that I’m losing weight. I was looking forward to seeing if it would be possible to do the Sherlock workout on level 3 with my weighted vest. It was hard but not unbearable. I did my training session outside in a sunny spot which made it a hot workout because of the weighted vest

      Warm-up
Vitality Day 29 lv III (no rest between sets)

      Cardio
60 days of Cardio Day 44 lv I (no rest between sets)

      Workout of the Day (WOD)
Sherlock (modified) lv III with ec (rest <30 seconds rest between sets)

I did the Sherlock workout with a 10kg weighted vest. I did 5-7 push-ups in each push-up segment and the last set, I did ten push-ups in each push-up segment. As I didn’t keep track of the total amounts of push-ups, I will only put down 120 push-ups towards my year’s total.

The second segment of calf raises in each set was exchanged with ten sidekicks.

      Finisher (core and stretching)
      Back & Core Day 22

The Impossible Abs Challenge Day 2 (I did the elbow plank in one go)

Three sets of 20 reps bicep curls (10kg dumbbells) – alternating/10 reps one side and then ten reps the other side

      Total push-ups 2020: 13.789

      Total pull-ups 2020: 313

      Total Indoor Rowing: 124.522m

      Walking to Mordor: 1.796,7 km

      Days of consecutive training: 91

It was pouring down all day. So I spent the day cleaning the house. In the afternoon I went for a swim. I open-water swim for 20-30 minutes each day. The water is 16-18 Celsius, and it was raining so I was pretty cold when I arrived back home. I had planned to do my training program after my swim, but I was too cold. I'm also a little sore in the upper body, especially in the arms and shoulders of swimming, so I settled for Zen as today's workout.

Today I got squashed by Flamethrower. My target for each push-up segment was 11 push-ups. I started strong, but I ran empty on the last three sets. We went to the beach after I had finished Flamethrower and swam for 30 minutes. There was quite a wind so the tide was strong and there was breaking waves, so we had a great time playing and swimming. It was quite a workout in itself

I decided to do Vitality and 60 days of Cardio as one workout. It felt as both workouts were done faster when done together. I haven’t done Max Out during my current training regime. It flowed nicely from one exercise to another, and it wasn’t too hard because of the March Steps and Bicep extensions. Lastly, it contained burpees which I love. My target for each burpees segment was five burpees which I reached.

The weather has been grey, and it has been raining for almost a week now. The temperature has also dropped to below 20 degrees Celsius. All in all, it is beginning to take a toll on my mood and energy level. I feel more tired and lazy during the day. So, I had to pull myself together today to achieve the things I had planned to do. It always makes me in a better mood when I succeed to fight the laziness. We had a great swim in the ocean. In the evening, I managed to do Off day, which suited the day perfectly.

Let's swap weathers... at least between our cities (doesn't have to be the whole country ) The sky here is such a bright blue (or at least go on holiday to the south of Europe or something).

Amirsh - It sounds like a good idea, and it doesn't need to be all the time. We could just swap weather from time to time when you need a day full of rain and grey weather. I would most happily take some sun and a bright blue sky

I had another active day gardening, swimming and training. The weather has improved, which did lift my mood today. Today I did Power Strike as my workout of the day with a target of 20 push-ups in each push-up segment. It was doable even though I messed up the order of the exercises in the last set. So, I decided to do an extra set to make things right. For the first time since the COVID-19 shut-down, I had access to an indoor rowing machine. So, I finished my training session with 1000 meter of indoor rowing. It was an excellent finisher for my training session.

Today, I got the chance to test myself as I did the Shredder workout with my 10 kg weighted vest. I planned to do three sets, but after I finished the first two sets, I decided to do it at level two. Level two was a perfect place to stop as I couldn't have completed another round of push-up segments. I surprised myself by doing a total of 200 push-ups with my weighted vest in a single workout. I finished my training session with 1000 meter of indoor rowing which was an excellent finisher for my training session. We went straight to the beach to swim and play in the sea. It was perfect with a cold bath after a steaming hot training session My daily open water swims function almost as a cold water recovery therapy
