    Today was one of those days where I was so close to make it a relaxed Saturday regarding training. Even though I didn't feel up to it, I decided to put on my gym shorts and a t-shirt and see where it took me. Vitality Day 16 was a good start on a day like this and the jumping jacks in 60 days of Cardio Day 31 was a good test to see if I was ready for Burn Zone. I felt a bit intimidated by Burn Zone, and I had to convince myself that I was ready to conquer it.

    Luckily my youngest daughter Emma decided to join my training session, which was just what I needed to get through Burn Zone. Emma changed the playlist for our training session too a more fast-paced, upbeat playlist which was perfect for Burn Zone. Emma decided to do Vitality Day 16, and after I had finished Burn Zone, we did the Cookie workout together. We had a great training session together.

    I can attest to the following from the description from Burn Zone:
    "This is a workout that will test your VO2 Max. Add EC, and it becomes a massive challenge."

        I spent most of the day in our garden gardening. In the afternoon, we packed our things and made the summerhouse ready for our departure. As we arrived home late in the evening, I settled for a short workout as today's training session.

          I settled for a combat HIIT workout today. I decided to do a round of push-ups as a finisher and some stretching after Back and Core. It was a satisfying training session.

          Power Strike lv III with (45-sec rest between sets)

          I did 18 push-ups in the first set and 20 push-ups in the 2nd to 7th set.


          Push-ups
          I did different push-up variations with 40-seconds rest between each variation: Regular, raised leg, stacked, staggered, wide (12 repetitions), diamond, spider-man, decline.

          I did ten repetitions of each variation except for wide push-ups which I did 12 repetitions to get an overall even number of push-ups.

                I improved my performance of the Overdrive workout compared to the last time I did the workout. It didn't push me as hard as last time. This time I also managed to do 15 push-ups in every set.

                    1 push up a second is great. especially at a high intensity workout where you burn yourself out. My set count usually drops by a push up to five push ups every set and every round.

                      I am also myself surprised that I can keep a rep count of 1 push-up per second throughout the workout. It has helped that I for the last month have had a focus on HIIT workouts.
