    I spend most of the day in our garden, weeding. We also planted three trees in the corner of the garden to take the view from a shed and the nearby road. In the afternoon, we went to the beach where I swam with Emma, our youngest daughter. So I first had time to train in the evening, and I decided to make it a short training session as I was beginning to feel tired.

          I did jump rope skipping instead of high knees. I did 11 push-ups in the first push-up segment, and I kept the target throughout the workout. I even managed to do 12 push-ups in a few of the push-up segments.

                            Today I did another great HIIT workout: Power Strike. I didn’t go for ec. For me, it ruins my rhythm if I have to count the reps for all the segments in a HIIT workout. I can’t go flat out and at the same time concentrate on the numbers. It was one of those days where it took me one or two sets to enter the Zone as I felt a bit exhausted from yesterday’s training session. So during the first set of Power Strike, I was convinced that I had to settle for lv I, but I persevered.

                              Today I did another great HIIT workout: Double Helix. I can recommend this workout if you are looking for a workout which focuses on explosiveness.
