    Pictures don't lie.

Yesterday, I browsed through my photos on my phone and stumbled across some progress pictures I have taken.

I have taken progress pictures during the last year but haven't planned on using them.

So I accidently stumbled across one of the first photos which is from april last year - a month after I found Darebee. I haven't looked at these photos since then and I was pretty surprised to see my progress from then up until now I didn't realize how drastically my body recomposition has been until I saw the pictures

I had not planned on posting the pictures but I have decided to do it as a sort of testimony on how great Darebee is >|< Maybe it can also be a motivation for fellow darebee members

I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe, I will make it a yearly tradition to post a picture on my Darebee annivesary as a way to stay accountable and motivated

            Friday, February 12

DD: 40 Dead Bugs (ec) + 60 Seconds Side Leg Raise Hold* - both legs (ec)
            Weekly Quest: 2min wall-sit*
HiiT Advanced: Day 13 lv. 2* (running stairs (twice) as active rest)
            5 min Side Splits*

            * done with my 9kg weigthed vest

I had another busy day. So in the evening I had actually thrown myself on the sofa and had turned the telly on when I started to miss todays training session

So I got up put on my training clothes and my vest and went down and outside to do today's training session. The first 2 sets were really hard but after that it began to flow more easily. The temperature was below 0 C which helped on my tiredness

It felt really good afterwards when hitting the sofa again

I'm a little late... but that's some really impressive physical improvement.
Still, considering the kind of workouts you get done, I can't really say I'm surprised... but all the credit goes to your hard work, of course.

Redline - thanks for the compliment

What strikes me most is the pictures from april 2015.
I thought I was in great shape then but it was obviously a case of self-deception when looking at the picture from February 2016. It makes you think

                  DD*: 50 Pop-Up Tripods
Weekly Quest*: 280 squats as part of HiiT
HiiT Advanced*: Day 14 lv. 2 (10 squats and 5 push-ups per exercise)
WoD*: 1 set/8 reps - diamond (10), leg raised, staggered, stacked, wide
Crazy Cupids*: 28 burpees with a push-up - done as part of HiiT

                  * done with my 9kg weigthed vest

Nothing much to report. Oddly enough this is one of my favorite workouts - a combination of squats and push-ups

                      Monday, February 15

HiiT Advanced*: Day 15 lv. 2 (running cellar shaft twice per round of high knees)
                      WoD *: Berserker+ lv2 (2 *12,5kg dumbbells - 20 bicep curls)
                      Abs: Total Abs lv1
                      Crazy Cupids: 12 burpees with a push-up
                      Stretching: 40 punches/20 chest expansions

                      * done with my 9kg weighted vest

HiiT Advanced was a perfect warm-up for the Berserker Workout.
Berserker was tough today. Especially the first set was killing me Fortunately after that I hit the 'zone'. The plank walk-outs with shoulder taps were tough on my arms and shoulders and I got sore really quick.

All in all a challenging training session which felt great (especially afterwards )

                        Sundance, I'm in awe. :0
I don't think that a lot of people would consider doing level 2 of an advanced HIIT workout with a weighted vest as a "warm-up".

DD: 50 Shrimp Squats with ec
                            Weekly Quest: 300 hops
HiiT Advanced*: Day 16 lv. 2 with jumping squats
                            WoD *: Juggernaut lv2 (3 pull-ups)

                            * done with my 9kg weighted vest

First time I tried the Juggernaut workout which I liked. So it is definitely not the last time For me it is just below Conan and in range with the Atom and the Samson workout. I had to break down the diamond push-ups into two sets of 5 with a short pause between these two sets.

I must admit, I am aching all over after yesterday's Berserker workout and today's Juggernaut workout

Especially my obliques are sore so I'm glad I don't have to cough

                              Wednesday, February 17

                              DD: 40 Knee-ins & twist with ec
HiiT Advanced: Day 17 lv. 2 - no rest between sets
                              WoD : Endgame lv3

I was still sore today and I had a slight pain in my right shoulder (front deltoid). I could feel it when raising my arm above my head. So I decided to take it easy.

The Endgame workout was perfect for an active rest day. Especially the punches and backfists were a good stretching exercise for my arms and shoulders.

I will take it easy for the next couple of days to make sure it does not develop into a serious injury.
