I really need to find a band for my fitbit, as my phone seems to be off significantly and today I left my fitbit at home by accident. Anyway, step count on my phone was over 6000.

In the evening I did Total Upperbody (EC) and Breasts Lift (EC). In the latter I modified knee pushups to regular pushups and with 50 in both workouts, I made it to 100.

If you just need to count your steps, drop your fitbit into your sock.

TopNotch Not a bad idea, though to be honest I don't mind being free of the daily step count for a bit. I might just get a new fitbit when I feel like it. By this point I have a decent appreciation of when I have walked enough everyday and when not.

I had been planning on a run yesterday morning, but I didn't feel like it, and so today I decided to go for a swim instead. I didn't time myself exactly, but I was in the pool for about 30 minutes and I swam 20 laps, alternating as usual between front crawl and breast stroke. It wasn't too bad, as I had the lane to myself for about half of the time that I was there. The medium speed lane at the pool is an odd place to swim, as it can be really fast or really slow depending on how people determine their own speeds. Today was on the slow side, but although I was going much faster than the people that I did have to share the lane with, it was OK anyway as I didn't want to push myself too much on my first day in the pool in two months.

Today was mostly planned as a rest day. We did a walk around midday along one of the rivers, pretty swollen with the spring runoff at this point.

In the evening I did Bliss and Neck and Shoulders.

Today was my older boy's birthday, so a lot of what we did today was based around that. I did go for a run this morning, but this was birthday related as I designed a hodgepodge route through various streets next to the bakery where we bought the cake. I was mostly trying to cover streets that I hadn't run on before, but three of these involved running to dead-ends adjacent to the highway. I feel as though it was a decent time, 5.7 km in 30:17. My main route last year was 5.5 km and I used to be happy to run it under 30 minutes by comparison.

After getting back we went for bowling. I haven't been bowling in over 2 decades, but my son expressed an interest in it from who-knows-where, so we decided to take him for his birthday. It was particularly successful, as the boys spent more time worrying about the returning balls down the side lane than they did about actual bowling, but my wife and I made up for their lack of interest by throwing balls when we could. Not having bowled a lot in my life, it was a bit challenging, though I did manage one strike.

After this we went for a short walk as per his request and then after afternoon naps, we went for the public swim at the nearby pool. A pretty active day overall, though offset by eating too much cake and pizza.

TheLibrarian TopNotch LizardFriend95 Anek NancyTree Thanks all! I will say Happy Birthday again for him from you all

Today was a work day, so I got a decent step count in, though once again not certain how much. I think that I might just hold off for a bit and upgrade my FitBit when I get the chance and just use this as the default from now on.

I started out doing a harder workout tonight but after 20 squats and 20 lunges I realized that I had planned on a rest day. So I swapped over to Expanse and Super X.

                              SheWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks!

Same problem as usual recently with two step counts wildly different from one another. I did do a fair amount of steps today at work anyway, regardless of what the true number is.

This evening I did Atom (level I) and Power Circuit + (level I). The first workout is the one that I started last night but then swapped over to a rest day. I did 4-3-3 on the pullups and did 20 each time for the pushups to-fatigue. I had 102 total pushups for the day.

A regular day at work for me, with a decent step count, though I again I am not certain exactly what it was.

In the evening I did Knockout (level I, EC) and Talk To The Hand (EC). I also did Wrist Pain throughout the day, although I don’t have any wrist pain. (Posted one day late)
