About challenges... if I get stuck one day, I redo it the next. And the next. If I'm not frustrated to hell and back by then, I go back a few days (to the beginning of the row, for example) and start again from there. If that still doesn't work, I drop the challenge and maybe try it later again. If I forget to do a day, I just do it the next day. If something happens during the first five days, I start from the beginning again. But tbh, most of the time I forget that I started a challenge around day 2 or 3.
Good work on your workout today, that sounds like a lot.
Flexibility is incredibly weird. You can do some exercises and others might be impossible to do with your physique. I can do splits no problem or put my feet behind my ears, but I can't bodyweight squat to 90Β°. No idea why. I guess we do what we can and try to improve as much as possible.

      Thanks for the insight lofivelcro!

This day was even less productive than the day before. Somehow I completely forgot about working out. The thought just never came up. Only after our dinner in the evening. And because I can't workout with a full stomach I just let it be somehow πŸ˜…

BUT to not feel to bad I did the daily dare and the plank challenge πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

      daily dare
      workout of the day
      plank 30 day challenge - day 3
      5 k steps

I promise Monday will be more productive! Hubby's going back to office from home office so I won't have as much distraction as last week.

Have a great day and donβ€˜t forget to drink enough water! πŸ’§β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹

Fenye It sounds as though your hamstrings are tight. Generally, people can get their knee up a lot higher than a straight leg, and that's often (but not only) due to tight hamstrings. This is my go-to challenge when my hams are feeling a bit tight - or as now, when I've strained one.
Have fun with the plank challenge!

TopNotch thank you for this thought. Firstly I needed to google what hamstrings are πŸ˜‚ I was never really able to touch my toes, even at times where I would say I was my fittest and most flexible self. I would touch them shortly by swinging. So adding now a new challenge to my daily routine. πŸ˜‚ And seeing as your also doing the challenge ot feels like we're doing it together πŸ₯° (even if you're already at day 10, don't ruin my fantasy πŸ˜‚ )

So sadly I skipped a day writing here. I don't know why, but it happend πŸ˜‚

On Monday I did the daily dare. And the workout of the day + EC (Level 1) Monkey!, again changed the burpees to line jumps tho. Also the plank challenge. I was surprised, I remember that when I started with working out how I wasn't able to do up and downs even on my knees. And now even when I didn't train that much in the last few months I was able to do them perfectly fine in a normal plank. It's not much, but for me it's a win!

          daily dare
workout of the day + EC (Level 1)
          plank 30 day challenge - day 4
          5k steps

          21.09.21

Tuesday wasn't a good day. I did the daily dare and the plank challenge. And I started with the workout of the day Tiger, Tiger. I did one set, but I noticed that I'm powerless? Strengthless? I don't know how to say it. But I couldn't do the exercises right... And I just couldn't force myself like I really tried but it didn't work. So I thought that not doing the exercises is better than doing them wrong because I have no power. Aaaaand I led it be...

          daily dare
          workout of the day
          plank 30 day challenge - day 5
          5k steps

Have a nice day! And don't forget to drink enough water!

Sometimes we all have a "weak" day! Well done on the up-and-down planks. They are my least favourite planks. Just for you, I'd start the challenge all over again!

TopNotch not my intention but I'll take it! πŸ˜‚ That's gonna motivate me even more now! πŸ’ͺ Thank you!

"Early" update because husband and me just finished a pokΓ©-walk and now I've went 6.5k steps which is always my last goal for the day. So I can already write down everything!

Today I woke up in quite a good mood. Todays warm-up was cleaning the house. πŸ˜‚ Then I did my workout routine with daily dare ( I'm not fancying these folded crunches) followed by the plank challenge. Let's see at which point it gets really interesting ^^

The workout of the day total upperbody took be by surprise. I was in the middle of the punches and was wondering how many sets I'm supposed to do and realised that there are no level for this workout πŸ˜‚ did it with EC tho.

Decided to add a full body workout and went with stronger today + EC (Level 1)

And then I did the touch your toes challenge as recommended for my hamstrings.

With warm-up and stretching it took me slightly over 70 mins, that's the longest since writing in this thread! It felt great!

              daily dare
              workout of the day
              plank 30 day challenge - day 6
touch your toes challenge - day 1
              5k steps

Have a nice day! And don't forget to drink enough water!

Todays a quick one, because I don't have to mich time working out.

Did the daily dare.. Does it count if I'm just not able to stand on one leg? I tried, I fell sometimes over, but I tried πŸ˜‚
Did the plank challenge, 40 sec plank 30 sec elbow plank, we're getting slowly to the time I was able doing in the beginning (1:10). It's getting interesting ^^
Did the workout of the day Unicorn (Level 1) and the touch your toes challenge day 2!
And I'm already at 6k steps so yeay to all checkmark set! 🎊

Fenye Search out a nice four-minute YouTube video or something. Make sure it's interesting and exciting, and those four minutes will flash by!

Yes watching something and distracting yourself does help a lot. I sometimes like to listen to an interesting podcast or a book and time flies by much quicker than if I am thinking of how everything hurts from the long plank

TopNotch I always have YouTube on while working out. Either music or a nice audio book/podcast. I just think I'm not jet fit enough for 4 mins. But I'll do the days as well as long as I can and if I fail someday I'll see if I just redo this day until I get it done or maybe pick some more days (like back to the last up and downs) and redo those as often as it takes to progress further.

But thank you and SheWhoMustNotBeNamed for the suggestion!

                                24.09.21

It's 8 past midnight in Germany now. And I noticed too late that there are only 500 steps missing to my 5k goal. So I guess back to zero πŸ˜…

Daily challenges was... Interesting... Let's say maybe my nose greeted the floor... Maybe I quit trying because I'm not even able to do proper normal push-ups... But maybe that all was a lie... Who knows 🀷 maybe you'll never find out!

Wreck It! Is a total body workout that will help you get your body temperature up and deliver you into the sweatzone fast.
The discrimination of todays workout of the day was very accurate! I managed to do it until I reached Level 1. I think I would have passed out if I tried more sets πŸ˜‚ Did wall-push-ups tho πŸ˜…

Decided to do something for my abs with crop top workout.

10 up and downs for the plank challenge were easy πŸ’ͺ

And did of course touch your toes challenge day 3!

                                daily dare
                                workout of the day
                                plank 30 day challenge - day 8
touch your toes challenge - day 3
                                5k steps

I forgot to bake our bread for tomorrow so I'll need to stay awake for two more hours until it's completely ready πŸ˜… not so smart me...

Anyway... Have a nice day! And don't forget to drink enough water!
