1299 Days of Iai! That's inspiring! When I grow up, I seriously want to get my streak of Kickboxing days as high as yours!

        Hope everything goes well

I was wondering if you only perform one strike of lai (like a vertical strike for example) every day or do you plan your lai days?

              Do you do:
Day 1 = vertical strikes only
Day 2 = horizontal strikes only
              Etc.

Or do you do a small routine?

The advice is appreciated as I want to try and get a streak like yours going.
We have a standard set divided into standing and kneeling kata. I usually do all of the standing and the first kneeling kata, but literally any amount counts for the streak (my game, my rules). This morning I did the whole set because I may not be able to for a while.

I think the secret was that I kept picking the goal of 100 days back up whenever I missed a day. Once I had the habit of doing it more than not doing it, the rest was relatively easy.
