          I apparently completely failed at sensible eating yesterday, so I think the rest of the week is back to the more-structured Amazon Queen Diet (which is basically the Mayo Clinic Diet with fewer grain-carbs). But also, yesterday's meal-plan got thrown off because I had already eaten my pre-dojo snack when training got canceled (because I was going to be literally the only person who could attend) so less exercise and an extra meal (usually on Monday and Thursday, I have a pre-dojo snack and then a protein shake when I get home) and a little comfort eating (ice. cream. sandwich.). All of which managed to get me outside my target calories for yesterday. Boo.

          All of which is fine! The obvious answer is to be a little more cognizant of what I'm eating and when.

          (Could be worse. Over the weekend, I ordered my big cheat meal and it was really mediocre. Just like flavorless and sad, but I ate it anyway and then felt icky for a couple of days. Where yesterday, I ate too much of basically good-for-me stuff and a single ice cream sandwich, all of which ranged from normal-tasty to really-tasty, and I just want to eat a little better for a bit to get back on track.)

            Kanary how do you track your calories? I have tried pen and paper, apps and a custom calculator or my IPad but I just can't seem to nail it.

              I use the food tracker in the Fitbit app for actual calories, because it automatically syncs with my daily activity levels. But that's only helpful if you have a Fitbit.
