    Healthy alchemist after all those years?

    Hey there!

    After trying out the site for quite some time now, doing random exercises here and there, I'm ready to commit to my future health
    I'm trying to lose weight (~99 kgs/172cms at start) and although it's quite high I'm in an ok shape overall. My goal is to be just healthy, so I'm cutting on food as well.

    I play basketball once a week, and will try the reboot program on level 2 + daily exercise.

    Let's go!

    July 25th: finished reboot day 1 + 40 seconds of raised legs hold! It is quite intensive on my lower abs ang groin...

              Reboot day 2 + DD!

              Thanks for responding and keeping me motivated!

              Question for the more experienced ppl here: tomorrow I play basketball, and it's lunges day in the program - should I do both? skip a day? what do you suggest?

                i see no problem doing both but listen to your body- make sure to warm up and the usual stuff You however know your body best, do as much as you can but if it strats to strain or hurt, then dont, its important to learn what you can and cant do and plan properly

                  Reboot day 3 + 90 minutes basketball!

                  Legs days are easier for me, and basketball is always the highlight of the week.
                  The DD yesterday was way too hard for me (side to reverse planks) so I just did 60 secs plank hold instead.

                    Reboot day 4 + DD!

                    These climbers proved harder than I thought, basically since they are also quite a workout for the arms as well (hopefully I'm doing it right).

                      My muscles are quite stiff and sore from exercising regularly again, so I listened to my body as TheGrayLynx advised.
                      I opted for the sore muscles stretch workout and tomorrow I'll pick up the program again.

                        The DD way quite hard so I did part of it, and the squat/jamping jacks exercise is a breeze for me

                              The DD was quite hard, but I decided to add the monthly challenge to the mix and see how it goes.
