      So, my surgery did not happen. At literally the last minute (the IV was already in my hand) a trauma case came in and the hospital co-opted the operating room I was supposed to get. So, the life reorganization and stress that had built up to that point resolved into rage. I was able to get my work hours back for the rest of the week and after a few days I was fine, then went out of town for the weekend. Just came back this morning and decided to do some weights in the evening. I have some more travel plans in the next couple of weeks, so the surgery will likely be rescheduled in October.

      Circuit of Four Lying-Down Dumbbell Chest Exercises That I Don't Know The Names Of (12 x6 x3)
      (I took 20 second rests between sets and 1 minute rests between the circuits at the end. 12 lbs. was still generally challenging, but I'm thinking that I could do the first 3 lifts with 15lbs. Also, I am doing something that is affecting my lower back a bit in a not-fun way, even though I reduced the weight on the bent-over lifts.)

              Five Rites (15 reps) (It was kind of challenging to jump back in at 15 reps after a week's layoff.)
              Fireheart (Day 08, Level 1) (I did knee push-ups, but still exhausted after 3 rounds. For Rounds 2 and 3, my crosses had the power of wet noodles.)
              Daily Gratitude (After Fireheart, I just wanted to sit down. I am amazed at how much fitness I have lost. Time to rebuild!)
              Qigong for Vision (4 reps) (I continued my routine after a 5-minute rest.. No cleansing breaths between reps.)

                I can't seem to get into the swing of things. I sleep plenty (maybe too much), but I am just not able to get things done in the morning and I'm tired in the evenings. Also, we left town on Saturday and we just got back yesterday evening. But, I am happy that I managed some lifts today!

                Bent Over Rows (0 x0 x0) (from Upper Body Sculpt) (I skipped the two bent over lifts to see if I was tweaking my lower back while doing them or something else. It seems it is during them. Time for more youtube vids, I guess.)
